A Guy's Summer Tool Kit

It has been a long winter here in California. Usually we are well into the consistent sunshine but the sun has been reluctant to come out this year. The groundhog must have seen his shadow (I honestly don't know.). Now that the sun is coming out more and the weather is beginning to warm up, I can't wait to be outside. My favorite outdoor activity is golf. If you have known me for any length of time this is no surprise. It's my one and only hobby. I don't come unprepared to the golf course though. I always have dōTERRA products on hand because I never know if I'm going to need them or not.
More than likely you're reading this for your husband, but for all my guys out there who are reading this...RIGHT ON! Let me tell you what I have in my golf bag (this is applicable to virtually any outdoor summer activity) so that I can help all my dudes out there have a great time outside this summer.

Sunscreen - You have to have sunscreen. I'm pushing 40 and I can totally tell that my skin doesn't look like it used to. Obviously, I don't want to get sunburnt either. dōTERRA's natural sunscreen comes in spray, stick, or lotion form. There's a face specific sunscreen as well. I'm old school. I like the lotion. I think it rubs in the easiest.

Terrashield - Sometimes there are bugs and those pesky mosquitos. Terrashield comes in a spray. I spray once per limb and then on my neck and I'm good to go.

Chapstick - I like the OG peppermint and wild orange flavor but the other ones are good too.

Peppermint or Supermint Beadlets - These are ALWAYS on me because who wants to have bad breath?

Deep Blue stick - You never know quite how you're going to feel do physical activity. In case I have some minor aches or pains the Deep Blue stick is my best friend. I like it better than the rub because I don't need to worry about rubbing it in.

OnGuard Hand Sanitizer - I try to remember to carry this with me. I'm not much of a germaphobe but if I have to fish a ball out of some nasty lake and I'm not near a bathroom, at least I can use my hand sanitizer. Especially, if I'm about to have a bite at the turn, this comes in real handy.

Breathe throat drops - I always have a few of these in my bag. During the spring, if my allergies flair up, this really helps to open me up and curb my sneezing.

InTune - Calming and focusing. Good for those first tee jitters.

Keychain - I always have my keychain with me. I have nine sample vials of different oils in there just in case. Right now I'm using a lot of lavender, lemon, and peppermint for my allergies. I reuse them throughout the day as I need relief. I recommend a keychain for everyone because it's a great way to carry several oils with you at all times. You never know what you're going to come across in a given day.

DigestZen - It's on my keychain but I want to call this one out specifically. I probably use this oil more than any other in my keychain. You never know when you might eat something that doesn't agree with you and that can really spoil your day. Having this on my at all times helps a lot.
